Adventure Sydney

The underwater world of Sydney offers great adventures. These range from diving with sharks, to wreck diving and night diving. So why not come and join the adventure in Sydney with Abyss Scuba diving.

If you are not already a diver, we offer underwater adventures in Sydney for the non-diver. These one-day adventures let you feel the excitement of diving without having to qualify as a SCUBA diver. You have the chance to get up close and personal with large blue groper, giant cuttlefish and perhaps even Port Jackson sharks.

For those who are already certified divers, we offer the adventure of diving with Sydney’s grey nurse sharks at Magic point. Usually sighted during the months from April to November, the Grey Nurse Shark can be found along the east, west and northern coasts on Australia, migrating south in winter. The best place to experience the adventure of diving with grey nurse sharks in Sydney is at Magic point, which is only fifteen minutes from our dive centre. So why not come on our next shark diving adventure.

The second of the great dive adventures in Sydney is wreck diving. Sydney has a number of wrecks and Abyss Scuba Diving offers a number of Sydney base wreck diving adventures. Most of the wrecks are at 30m or greater and as such we require a minimum of PADI Advanced open water diver or at least to have done the adventure dives for the Deep and Wreck modules for the Adventures in Diving program.

The third great diving adventure that we offer on a regular basis in Sydney is night diving. Ship Rock is classed as one of the best night dives in New South Wales.
