Let's face it, sometimes our brains get full and we forget important things like:
-
What are the five steps in a pre-dive safety check?
-
What are the signs and symptoms of decompression sickness?
-
If you run out of air at 12meter and your buddy is more than 20 metersaway, what's the safest course of action?
If you've forgotten the answers to the questions above, it may be time for a scuba tune-up. To refresh your knowledge of important dive skills and problem solving techniques, try Scuba Tune-Up online. A series of online quizzes helps you review only the scuba diving fundamentals you're rusty on, and skip material you're familiar with.
This can be done as a stand alone refresher or combined with in water training as a complete refresher course.

Not been diving in a long time? Discover the adventure again! If you are a certified diver but it's been a while since your last dive, the PADI Scuba Review is the perfect refresher course for you. Scuba Review helps you tune up your diving skills without having to repeat the entire scuba course. It reacquaints you with diving so that you're back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day.
After completing the Scuba Review, your instructor will document in your logbook your participation in this program. This shows dive centers, resorts and dive boats that you have updated your skills. You will also gain renewed confidence to once again enjoy the fun and adventure that is unique to scuba diving.
Scuba Review includes a classroom session and pool review session with a Abyss Scuba Diving Profecional Staff. For safety, all students undertaking in-water training must complete the below Scuba Medical Questionnaire that asks about medical conditions that could be a problem while diving. If none of these apply, you sign the form and you're ready to start. If any of these apply to you, as a safety precaution your physician must assess the condition as it relates to diving and sign a medical form that confirms that you're fit to dive.
Please note a diving medical is nevertheless strongly recommended as the diving medical may uncover conditions or issues you may not be aware of and which could expose them to the risk of serious injury or death while diving.
