Why not learn to dive on schoolies week 2006, while experiencing a different culture and partying hard. Vanuatu is just a short flight from Sydney where you can gain a PADI open water certification that will open new doors to the under water world of excitement.

An Australian guide with local Vanuatu knowledge will be with you all the way to show you the above and under water excitement of Vanuatu. This schoolies week trip is open to all ages and will give you a PADI open water certification, that will allow you to dive anywhere in the world for the rest of you life. Do the theory and pool session in Sydney (1 day) and take on the under water excitement in Vanuatu. Don t spend loads of money and have to wait in queues, do something a little different and get away from the crowds you normally get on a schoolies week.

The Culture & People: Vanuatu is an idyllic holiday destination for divers, as well as travellers seeking a little adventure in paradise. The semi-tropical climate has a temperature range from between 23c and 28c. The Melanesian people are a gentle, peace-loving race, intent on enjoying life's simple pleasures. The native language spoken is Bislama with English and French also widely spoken. The traditional drink of Vanuatu is Kava, and it�s an experience not to be missed. The Island: Hideaway Island Resort, Vanuatu's only marine sanctuary is a small coral atoll that is as close as you'll get to a Robinson Crusoe island escape in the South Pacific. The clear turquoise water and coral reefs that surround Hideaway Island make it an ideal place for snorkeling and scuba diving. There hundreds of tame fish, which are more than happy to show you around.

Hideaway Island Resort has the world�s only underwater post office, which sits in around 3 meters of water just off the shore.

Schoolies Accommodation: Is great newly built dorm style, with an excellent central communal area to relax in if the sun it getting a little too warm or a meeting place before hitting the town. Each room has plenty of space with a ceiling fan, individual bunk lights, power outlet and lockers. Both the dorm and beach lodge accommodation offer shared facilities.
Schoolies can uppgrade to twin share beach lodge accommodation for $175 per person.

Food: Three meals a day will be included in the package (Contental breakfast, lunch and dinner- soup, choice of 3 main courses and desert) and will be served at Hideaway Island. Enjoy your meals with sand between your toes at the traditional style restaurant and bar.

Schoolies Activities: A schoolies week to remember. Your Australian tour guide will be with you all the way from the pool session and theory class in Sydney to when you meet at the international airport right through to when you arrive back home. A day on the island can be as busy or as quiet as you want to make it. As well as snorkeling and scuba diving, you can try sailing, kayaking or a game of beach volleyball. We can organise a group to go game or reef fishing or even have a round of golf.
