Bass & Flinder

Bass & Flinder
Bass & Flinder
SKU: Bass
Bass & Flinders is a good alternative when Oak Park is unavailable due to unfavourable conditions, or can be done as a drift dive past the Column House to the latter on an outgoing tide. More details...

Bass & Flinders

The site is quite shallow at first, 4-5 metres, slowly descending to 7 metres as you head east. Kelp runs along the shoreline and after reaching its most southern point breaks into large sections of boulders that extend south. There's no point in heading south out on the sand, there's only sand, sand and more sand. As a drift dive, you shouldn't exceed 60 minutes to reach Oak Park.

Located on the southern-most point of the Cronulla peninsula, the entry/exit point can be accessed via a walkway that leads west from the monument (highly visible at the end of Gowrie St).
