Remote Pristine Adventure Diving - December 2012

• Explore rarely dived wrecks including, RMS Quetta, SS Mecca, Volga, Ferguson, and HMAS Warrnambool.*
• Zero in on the 'best' of the Great Barrier Reef during the best weather.
• Day 1, dive the world famous Cod Hole before proceeding north, to the remote and seldom explored far northern sections of the continental shelf such as Tijou,
• Wishbone, Yule reefs and the Great Detached.
• Participate in seminars on the great explorers, navigators and mutineers; conducted by maritime archaeologists from the Museum of Tropical North Queensland.
• Dive a marine wonderland with dozens of uncharted wrecks. Here more big fish, sharks, whales, manta rays and turtle encounters are experienced than elsewhere on the Great Barrier Reef.
• Photo opportunities range from historic wrecks to rare hairy ghost pipefish on the spectacular pinnacles and fringing reefs to 100 kg tuna on the current prone walls.
• Raine Island and the surrounding cays of Moulter and Maclennan are the largest and most important Green Sea Turtle nesting areas in the world. The surrounding reefs will abound with turtles in the midst of their nesting season and the first of the hatchlings may be encountered taking their first tentative strokes, through the reefs and beyond.
