Minke whales are commonly seen along the Ribbon Reefs north of Cairns between May and August. As well as diving the world famous Cod Hole the second day devoted almost entirely to finding and snorkeling and/or diving with minke whales.

The trip includes:

13 dives including tanks and weight

A low level flight over the reef so you can see the sites from above

Comments: The experience of seeing these whales up close was awe inspiring!!!. Graceful, inquisitive creatures, absolutely amazing. If you sing into your snorkle they come closer :-) I saw the hairs on one whales chin it came so close it nearly touched me!!!

Comments: Absolutely fantastic! Diving was amazing, the minke whales came to play, the crew were fantastic, the food so good expect to put on a few kilos! New friends and dive buddies and great Abyss instructor! Recommend this trip.
