To participate in the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty Instructor Training course, an individual must be a teaching status PADI Instructor, PADI Assistant Instructor or active status PADI Divemaster.
The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course is appropriate for all divers and non-divers who may support divers (boat captains, lifeguards, family, friends, etc). In Australia, however, for it to be suitable for people in the workplace, additional training to meet a nationally recognised training course standards must be undertaken.
PADI Asia Pacific's RTO offers an upgrade to the standard PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course that will result in a Statement of Attainment for the recognised course 22100VIC: Course in Basic Oxygen Administration.
Completing this PADI Emergency Oxygen Instructor Course, the EFR First Aid at Work Instructor Course and registering with the PADI RTO will allow the instructor to teach the PADI Emergency Oxygen Instructor course, with successful participants reciving the nationally recognised statement of attainment for 22100VIC Course in Basic Oxygen Administration.
