Reviews the theory, principles and operation of dive equipment

Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage

Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures (may include a demonstration of repair procedures)

Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new gear (may include optional confined water dive to try new or unfamiliar equipment)

No dives are required, so you can take the Equipment Specialist course any time of the year

The PADI Equipment Specialist Course is not an equipment repair course, but it provides the foundation you’ll want if you’re interested in learning equipment repair

Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

The course runs over 3 nights (Tues- Thurs) 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Comments: If like me you have spent a lot of $$ on your dive gear and think you know how to properly maintain it all. THINK AGAIN. This course will extend the life of all your gear and help you avoid easy to manage little problems that might otherwise cause you to have a bad or cancelled dive. Both Peter and Carl are terrific instructors with a wealth of knowledge, proffessionalism and experience combined with an easy going attitude. Comments: This course will actually save me money. The knowledge on the wear and tear of dive gear, the working components of regs and how to best extend the life of what is a big financial investment is priceless. As always Peter Letts is a fantastic trainer and has so much personal experience to offer it's a pleasure to learn from him. Anyone who owns their own gear would find this course beneficial.
