Comments: WOW.. I have to say that I was scared as a person could be to swim and breath underwater, but Carl was FANTASTIC! He took things slowly enough to make sure I knew what I was doing but moved us along so we didn't get bored either. It was a HUGE learning curve but with the small class size I honestly believe I can now conquer the under water world.

Comments: ABYSS was a random choice. The decision was initially based on convenience. I was immediately impressed with the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. The student instructor ratio of 3:1 makes the whole experience so much easier and effective. The dive gear was of a very high standard and the chosen dive sites were great. I would thoroughly recommend ABYSS to anyone considering undergoing any training or doing day dives. A special thanks to Julian.

Comments: Found ABYSS randomly on the web and was sold on the idea of small groups - 3 students, 1 instructor. My buddy and I were nervous about the whole 'underwater' experience but with the help and patience of our excellent instructor Cem, we both overcome our initial fears and passed. Special thanks to Karl for all his additional help in the pool session, and to Paul for assisting us on our ocean dives. ABYSS dive school is very professional, with friendly, supportive and encouraging staff. Their equipment is exceptional, and this was made more evident when coming across other dive schools on the Sunday. I would thoroughly reccommend ABYSS to anyone. Thanks again everybody.

Comments: Abyss came highly recommended and it was hardly surprising to discover that their open water course was both professional and thoroughly enjoyable. The instructors go a long way in helping ease any nerves you may have and give you the confidence to demonstrate all of the necessary skills (A massive thanks to Jamie!!). Learning to dive certainly opens your eyes to what lies beneath. It gives you a great appreciation of marine life and leaves you with a taste for more!

Comments: These 2 days have been so wonderful, I have never thought of being certified but somehow I wanted to do something to challange myself during the holiday, when I browsed through the net I was attracted by the group of 3 idea and so here I come! Being able to dive under water is such a fabulous experience and I would like to thanks the friendly staffs in Abyss, Cem my instructor and my lovely groupmates Wilson and Jennifer for making these 2 days so much fun and unforgetable!

Comments: When my boyfriend bought us scuba lessons I never imagined id end up getting friendly with a groper! The enthusiasm and support of the staff made getting certified a breeze (special thanks to my wonderful instructor, Cem!). Having always been wary of deep water i was surprised by how safe and confident i felt while learning to dive. The small size of the groups and the convenience of the weekend schedule offered by Abyss is unsurpassed.

Comments: A wonderful team of instructors/staff at Abyss. I took a bit of time to overcome some fears in diving & the team were so encouraging, helpful, patient and supportive with this. Having only 3 students in the group was a huge advantage, the pace was excellent and everything was so well organised - they really looked after us. The off shore open water dives were spectacular. Thank you so much Abyss, especially Peter & Rachael, for helping me to become fully certified.

Comments: Loved the small students-to-instructor ratio, Dan and the rest of the people there really helped me out with the course, gear, and even gave me some dive sites and centres to check out for my trip to Fiji over the holidays!
