Diving with sharks is one of the most thrilling underwater experiences imaginable. They are one of the most wonderful creatures you can ever
dive with.
Abyss Scuba Diving have organised an Anzac Day overnight trips to dive with grey nurse sharks in Nelson Bay.
The overnight trip is to Nelson Bay (night of 24th), staying in Salamander Bay and doing 2 boat dives the following day (Anzac Day). The diving in Nelson Bay is excellent and the trip out to the dives sites can be just as exciting passing pods of dolphins and even whales at the right time of year. The Nelson Bay trip includes accommodation, breakfast, light lunch on board the boat, and a double boat dive.
After the day of diving we will call in at the local wineries and try a drop or two. If you are interested in any of these great days the cost is $160 for the double boat dive (including accommodation, breakfast and the second tank) or a special rate of $210 with all gear included. Make sure you book early as they are starting to fill already.
Please note that the sharks are in an exposed area and conditions sometimes limit access to the site.
