Course Overview
Enriched Air (Nitrox) can provide a number of benefits to divers depending on the type of diving they do. Enriched air adds another dimension to diving and allows for additional scope when diving. The PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) Course is designed to teach you the procedures for safe, recreational no decompression diving using Enriched Air (air with an oxygen content from 22% to 40%). The course covers the equipment and procedural concerns involving Enriched Air. You will learn how to plan Nitrox dives, and determine your no decompression limit and your oxygen exposure limit while using enriched air.

Nitrox or Enriched Air Course Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Enriched Air Diver course, you must

• Be 15 years or older
• Have a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)

Ask your PADI Instructor about how you can start your PADI Enriched Air Diver course during your PADI Open Water Diver course.

What does the course include

Enriched Air eLearning online Theory and practical lessons Two Training Dives Nitrox compatible regulator for the duration of the course Enriched air tank and Nitrox fills for the duration of the course PADI enriched air diver certification card.

What do you need to provide

• All dive gear

The course takes 1 day plus 1 night for theory (Not required for eLearning option) as well as some pre reading and video watching to be done.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course Online with PADI eLearning

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course Online follows the same format used in the highly successful PADI Open Water Diver Course Online. Student divers enroll and complete all knowledge development online, including all components of the newly revised PADI Enriched Air Diver Manual and Enriched Air Diving video.

the content itself has been revised so it is now based on using a dive computer. Although using the Recreational Dive Planner and DSAT Equivalent Air Depth and Oxygen tables remains an option, divers taking the revised specialty course now focus on learning how to properly set and use an enriched air capable dive computer to plan and execute their dives
