Diving Conditions in Sydney

The diving conditions in Sydney vary considerably throughout the year with water temperatures usually ranging from 15C to 25C and visibility from 1m to 20m, with normal visibility from 5m to 10m. Diving in Sydney is good all year round.

The following report on Sydney Dive conditions is based on observations of diving conditions made by our instructors and divemasters combined with reports from our customers. If you would like to help with this service then please report to us the dive conditions at the area you have dived.

It is important to remember that this page should only be taken as a guide and that as a diver you must make your own observations on the diving conditions and make your decision to dive on your own observations. You need to take into account your own diving abilities combined with the actual conditions at the time of diving.
