COURSE CONTENT

During the PADI Instructor Development program, you�ll learn the PADI System of diver education, standards and procedures, effective academic teaching presentations, teaching in confined water, conducting open water training dives and additional related topics.

Abyss Scuba Diving AI includes:

PADI Instructor Development Course Candidate Workbook
All air fills during the program
Use of Scuba tanks and weight belts
A minimum of 2 Confined Water dives
A minimum of 1 Open Water dive

AI COURSE CHECKLIST

Be certified as a PADI Divemaster
Provide a current Diving Medical ( dated within the last 12 Months ) in accordance with AS 4005.1
Provide proof of certification in CPR ( dated within the last 24 Months )
Provide proof of at least 6 Months diving experience with a minimum of 60 logged dives
Provide photocopies of both sides of your certification cards: Open Water, Advanced, Rescue & Divemaster
Provide one ( 1 ) passport photo
Be able to snorkel ( mask, snorkel & fins only ) 800m

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FOR PROGRAM

( a ) Complete SCUBA equipment including: Fins, Mask, Snorkel, BCD, Regulator, Alternate Air Source, Submersible Pressure Gauge, Exposure Suit, Underwater Timing Device, Depth Gauge, Dive Knife, Compass, Slate, Emergency Signaling Device, Scuba Tank & Weightbelt. ( Note: We can supply a Tank & weightbelt if required - at no charge )
( b ) Calculator, Note Pads, Pens, Pencils, Highlighter Pens, Eraser, Swim wear & Towel.
( c) Obtain the following PADI materials for the program:

Open Water Diver manual
Adventures in Diving manual
Rescue Diver manual
Divemaster manual
Recreational Dive Planner ( Table & Wheel )
