One thing on most divers/ snorkelers or ANYONE’s wish list is to have an encounter with a whale. Whale’s are absolutely amazing creatures and if you know where to go, you can have some great, close up contact with them.
There are many places in the world that offer close ups with lots of different kinds of whales. Tonga is a fantastic place to swim with the Humpbacks. During June and July the Dwarf Minke whales migrate past the Great Barrier reef and many live-aboard services offer trips specifically designed around snorkelling and diving encounters so you can get up close and personal. Whale sharks are a big attraction in places like Ningaloo Reef, Phillipines, Maldives and many other places. Rach and Carl were even lucky enough to spot a juvenile whale shark while they were on their boat in Botany Bay!!
I’m sure you, like the rest of the world are excited by the thought of seeing whales up close. For more info on our trips to get up close to the big guys, click here.
