Tip of the Week

Owning your own Wetsuit.

After owing your own mask, a wetsuit is the key thing all divers should own.

What’s better than wearing a comfortable warmer that molds to your body shape like a second skin? No more squeezing into rental suits that is long in the legs and short in the torso. No more having to constantly readjust your  weights to match each rental wetsuit’s buoyancy characteristics. Oh yeah, and no more wondering if that foreign pee smell is coming from the suit, or is just your imagination.

The thickness is probably the most important factor that will determine your comfort underwater. The thicker the wetsuit, the warmer you will be. Choose the thickness based on the type of water and diving you will be doing. If you are a Sydney diver then I would recommend a 7mm semidry. This enables you to dive comfortably all year.
