Christopher is one of only two PADI Freediver Instructor Trainers in Australia. Growing up in the southern suburbs of Sydney; Chris has been linked to the ocean from his earliest memories. Completing an Instructor Internship with Abyss in 2010 set him on a journey that took him to the Great Barrier Reef, South East Asia, and Eastern Africa.

Mentored by five times Freediving World Champion Jean-Pol Francois, Christopher has proudly represented Australia in Freediving.

Re-joining the Abyss Family in 2017 Chris pioneered the PADI Freediver Program and is currently heads up the Freediving department at Abyss Scuba Diving. Chris is responsible for training new freedivers, all freediving activities, continuing Freediver training and training Freediving instructors Chris is also one of our PADI Course Directors and a PADI TecRec Instructor Trainers.

You can always spot Chris in the water with a massive grin from behind his beard.
