The PADI Scuba Diving Experience program at Abyss Scuba Diving allows the non-diver to experience the thrill and adventure of scuba diving under the supervision of a qualified PADI Dive Instructor. During your adventure you'll master some basic concepts and scuba diving skills before heading off to open water to experience scuba diving first hand.

Your ocean dive will take you as deep as 12 metres (of course this depends on where you dive)! During your ocean dive you will have the chance to feed fish, maybe even a blue groper. Depending on dive conditions you may even get the opportunity to see the weedy seadragon that Sydney is famous for.

Become a PADI Open Water Diver

The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to get a head start on your PADI Open Water Diver certification. Should you decide to sign-up for a PADI Open Water Diver (learn to scuba dive) course, the skills you complete during your scuba diving experience will be credited towards your course.

So what are you waiting for? If you are a non-diver and would like to try a scuba diving experience then book now!

For your safety, all students undertaking in-water training must complete the below Divers Medical Questionnaire to determine if you have any medical conditions that may pose a problem while scuba diving. If none of these apply, you sign the form and you're ready to start. If any of these apply to you, as a safety precaution you must have a qualified medical doctor assess the condition and sign a medical form that confirms that you're fit to dive.

Please note: a diving medical is nevertheless strongly recommended as it may uncover conditions or issues you may not be aware of and which could expose you to the risk of serious injury or death while diving.

Comments: For years I have wanted to experience the "mystery"of the scuba world, but felt that as a very late starter, with no aquatic skills, that it would be beyond me.
