Your Advanced PADI Open Water Course will help you increase your confidence and builds your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water
Our PADI Adventures in Diving program will include knowledge development for the two required topics, the Deep and Underwater Navigation Dives, along with five of the most popular elective dives. These include Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, search & recovery, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist. This will significantly increase your diving options.
During the in-water training, you will undertake 2 boat dives (a deep dive & underwater naturalist at the magic point sharks) a navigation dive, a buoyancy dive, and Search & Recovery.
This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your experienced Abyss instructor. Oh, and have lots of fun! That is what your PADI Advanced Open Water Course is all about.
Under PADI standars as well as basic dive equipment (which can be rented) you are required to have a safety sausage and knife.

Shark Diving at Magic Point in Sydney. Shark Dive the only location in Sydney where divers can regularly dive with grey nurse sharks.
For the second day of the Advanced course we offer a double boat dive. One dive being a deep dive and the second, the boat diving module where we dive with the Sharks at Magic point.
For safety, all students complete the below Scuba Medical Questionnaire that asks about medical conditions that could be a problem while diving. If none of these apply, you sign the form and you're ready to start. If any of these apply to you, as a safety precaution your physician must assess the condition as it relates to diving and sign a medical form that confirms that you're fit to dive.
