Practical emergency care
Develop a practical foundation in CPR, First Aid, assessment and safe emergency response.

Continue your dive training
Current CPR and First Aid training is required for PADI Rescue Diver certification. Rescue Diver then builds on this foundation with diver-stress recognition, in-water rescue skills and realistic emergency scenarios.
Before you book
No. Emergency First Response is open to divers and non-divers, and no previous experience is required.
For the PADI Rescue Diver prerequisite, CPR and First Aid training must have been completed within the previous 24 months. Refresher training is recommended to keep your knowledge and practical skills current.
Yes. Successfully completing the required CPR and First Aid training provides the current training needed for PADI Rescue Diver certification.
