The course combines online learning with instructor-led practice and realistic scenarios. You will develop useful skills in a supportive environment where you can ask questions, practise techniques and build confidence.

What you’ll learn

Develop a practical foundation in CPR, First Aid, assessment and safe emergency response.

Primary Care and CPR

Secondary Care and First Aid

Do I need to be a diver?

No. Emergency First Response is open to divers and non-divers, and no previous experience is required.

How long is the training current?

For the PADI Rescue Diver prerequisite, CPR and First Aid training must have been completed within the previous 24 months. Refresher training is recommended to keep your knowledge and practical skills current.

Does this meet the Rescue Diver prerequisite?

Yes. Successfully completing the required CPR and First Aid training provides the current training needed for PADI Rescue Diver certification.
