What makes Avelo feel different?
Traditional scuba systems require divers to compensate repeatedly for changes in cylinder buoyancy throughout a dive. Avelo is designed to reduce those adjustments, helping you maintain a more consistent underwater position with less effort.
The lighter Hydrotank also reduces the weight you carry during entries and exits. The result is an opportunity to focus less on equipment management and more on trim, breathing and the environment around you.

Do I need previous Avelo experience?
No. The course introduces the equipment, procedures and diving techniques before you use the system in the ocean.
Is all equipment included?
The Hydrotank, Jetpack, regulator, weights and dive computer are provided. Bring your mask, snorkel, fins, boots and wetsuit, or ask about rentals.
Will Avelo automatically reduce my gas consumption?
No specific saving can be guaranteed. Gas consumption depends on breathing, experience, depth, conditions, workload and trim. Avelo may help some divers reduce effort and improve efficiency.
What is the Avelo Odyssey?
It is a two-day option that adds boat diving and more practical experience with Avelo. Confirm the current itinerary, price and availability with Abyss.
