An important boundary
Equipment familiarity supports safer decisions, but it does not replace manufacturer-authorised servicing. Never open, modify or attempt internal repairs on life-support equipment unless you hold the appropriate technician training and authorisation.
External inspection, correct rinsing and storage, manufacturer-approved adjustments and replacement of simple user-serviceable items.
Internal regulator or inflator work, cylinder-valve repairs, pressure-system servicing and faults beyond the manufacturer’s user guidance.

You must be at least 10 years old.
PADI Junior Open Water Diver, PADI Open Water Diver or an accepted equivalent certification.
