PADI Full Face Mask Diver Course
Experience the comfort and control of a full face mask (FFM). You’ll breathe naturally through your nose and mouth, stay warmer, and—when using compatible comms—talk underwater. This private specialty is perfect if you want to expand skills, prep for advanced diving, or simply try a new way to dive.
- Fit, preparation and checks for full face masks
- Underwater clearing and remove/replace procedures
- Managing buoyancy, comfort and emergency situations with FFM
- Diving with communications systems (when used)
- Care, maintenance and post-dive procedures
- Private PADI Instructor
- Full face mask provided for training
- Confined water skill session
- 2 open water training dives
- PADI Specialty certification (digital card)
Note: Standard scuba kit is required. If you need rental gear, let us know when booking and we’ll organise it.
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Good general health & fitness for diving
All divers must complete a standard dive medical questionnaire. If any responses require it, a dive medical with a physician may be needed prior to training.
- Morning: Orientation, equipment briefing
- Midday: Travel to dive site, site briefing One Ocean Dive (Sydney site selected for conditions)
- Afternoon: Second ocean training dives
We’ll tailor start times and the training site to conditions and your availability. Private means it runs to your schedule.
