The vast majority of Abyss scheduled dives remain open to all certified divers. The monthly Club Dive is the exception: one guided dive reserved specifically for current Abyss Dive Club members.

Do I need a buddy to join the Dive Club?
No. In fact, one of the best reasons to join is to meet other divers. Social events, guided local diving and the wider Abyss community make it easier to find future dive buddies.
Is the Dive Club suitable for newly certified divers?
Yes. The club is ideal for newly certified divers who want to build confidence, stay active and become part of the local Sydney diving community.
What if I have not dived for a while?
The membership includes PADI ReActivate, which is a useful way to refresh your knowledge and rebuild confidence before booking more dives. If you feel very rusty, ask Abyss about the best supported restart option.
What are members-only Club Dives?
Each month, Abyss schedules one guided Club Dive specifically for current Abyss Dive Club members. It is a small member-only bonus within the broader membership, not the main reason to join. Places are limited and Club Dives are listed on the Sydney Dive Calendar under Club Dives.
