Abyss Scuba Diving has served Sydney divers from Ramsgate since 2000. Visit us to start a course, check in for a dive, organise equipment hire, buy dive gear or speak with an experienced member of our team.
Our dive centre is south of the Sydney CBD, near Sydney Airport and only a short drive from our boat departure point at Sans Souci.

Allow extra travel time during weekday peaks and before early course or dive check-ins.
From Sydney CBD
Drive south towards Botany Bay and Ramsgate. Travel time is generally about 25 minutes in light traffic, but can be longer during peak periods.

Know where to turn
Parking at the dive centre
Turn into the driveway at the large Giant Parking sign beside the shop. Limited parking is available behind Abyss in the shared parking area.
Free street parking is generally available on Ramsgate Road and nearby side streets. Please arrive a little early, particularly on course mornings and busy weekends.

Courses and shop appointments: Come to the Ramsgate dive centre unless your confirmation says otherwise.
Shore and boat dives: Meeting points vary. Use the location and arrival time in your booking confirmation.

Our Sans Souci boat pickup is only a short drive away, and many of Sydney’s popular shore-diving areas are within easy reach. Marine-life sightings depend on conditions and can never be guaranteed, but our team can help you choose the most suitable upcoming dive.
