Galapagos Islands Trip Itinerary

26 June 2027 – Depart Sydney

Your Galapagos adventure begins as the group departs Sydney for Ecuador. This is the start of a true bucket-list diving expedition to one of the most famous marine destinations on Earth.

27 June 2027 – Arrive in Guayaquil, Ecuador

Arrive in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s main gateway city for travel to the Galapagos Islands. Transfer to your hotel, settle in, recover from the journey and meet your fellow Abyss divers.

28 June 2027 – Guayaquil Overnight Stay

Enjoy a relaxed day in Guayaquil before flying to the Galapagos. This extra night helps break up the travel and gives everyone time to prepare for the liveaboard adventure ahead.

29 June 2027 – Fly to San Cristobal & Board the Galapagos Master

Fly from Guayaquil to San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands. On arrival, transfer to the MV Galapagos Master, your home for the next seven nights. Settle into your cabin, prepare your dive gear and receive the vessel and safety briefings before the expedition gets underway.

30 June – 5 July 2027 – Diving the Galapagos Islands

Spend seven unforgettable nights aboard the Galapagos Master, exploring some of the most spectacular diving in the world. The proposed route includes legendary locations such as Darwin Island, Wolf Island, Cabo Marshall, Punta Vicente Roca, Cape Douglas, Santiago, Santa Cruz and San Cristobal.

During the liveaboard, divers can enjoy up to 18 dives, with opportunities to encounter schooling hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, sea turtles, sea lions, giant morays, marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins and huge schools of fish. These are the dives that make the Galapagos one of the most exciting destinations in the world for experienced divers.

6 July 2027 – Land Tour & Return to Guayaquil

After your time aboard the Galapagos Master, enjoy included land touring on North Seymour and Santa Cruz. This is your chance to experience the Galapagos above the water, with its volcanic landscapes and unique wildlife. Later, return to Guayaquil for your final overnight stay in Ecuador.

7 July 2027 – Depart Ecuador

Begin your journey home from Ecuador after an incredible expedition filled with world-class diving, remote islands and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

8 July 2027 – Arrive Back in Sydney

Arrive back in Sydney with memories of one of the greatest diving adventures on the planet. For many divers, the Galapagos becomes the highlight of their diving life.
