Join Abyss Scuba Diving for an extraordinary liveaboard journey through remote West Papua, beginning in Kaimana and Triton Bay before travelling north through Fakfak, Pulau Pisang and southern Raja Ampat to finish in Sorong.
This is not a standard Raja Ampat loop or a resort holiday. It is a genuine point-to-point expedition that connects Triton Bay’s soft-coral gardens and macro life with the celebrated reefs of Misool and Raja Ampat. Days revolve around diving, eating, resting and moving on to the next remote region, with up to three or four dives scheduled on diving days when conditions allow.

Triton Bay to Raja Ampat Dive Highlights
The planned voyage links several distinct marine environments. Exact dive sites cannot be guaranteed, but the operator’s published route commonly progresses through the following regions:
- Triton Bay – celebrated for lush soft corals, black-coral forests, schooling fish, turtles, bumphead parrotfish and outstanding macro subjects
- Fakfak – remote atolls, middle reefs and the possibility of a surface visit to Kiti-Kiti waterfall
- Pulau Pisang – isolated reefs, seamount-style terrain, walls, caves and open-water fish action
- Southern Raja Ampat and Misool – colourful coral gardens, pinnacles, channels, reef fish, sharks and possible manta activity

Fly from Denpasar via Sorong to Kaimana, the gateway to Triton Bay, then join MV Raja Manta.
Begin with the region’s soft-coral reefs, black-coral habitat, schooling fish and macro-rich sites.
Continue north towards remote atolls and reefs, with Kiti-Kiti waterfall possible if the schedule permits.
Dive isolated offshore terrain before the overnight crossing towards southern Raja Ampat.
Finish the main diving among Raja Ampat’s coral gardens, pinnacles and fish-filled reefs.
Disembark in Sorong after the required no-fly interval and take the included flight back to Denpasar.
Life Aboard MV Raja Manta
MV Raja Manta is a steel-hulled Indonesian liveaboard built for long-range dive travel. It becomes your accommodation, dive base and dining room as the expedition moves between widely separated regions.
The included fare is based on a twin standard lower-deck cabin. A limited number of double or twin suite cabins with private facilities can be requested for an additional $945 per person.

The package begins and ends in Denpasar, Bali. The included domestic itinerary is planned from Denpasar via Sorong to Kaimana, with the voyage ending in Sorong and an included return flight to Denpasar.
International flights to and from Denpasar are not included. Do not book non-refundable international flights or tight connections until Abyss has confirmed your place and advised the ticketed domestic schedule. Flight fares remain subject to change until ticketed, and excess-baggage charges are not included.

Are whale sharks, mantas or walking sharks guaranteed?
No. These animals occur along the broader route, and the operator may include an appropriate wildlife opportunity if conditions allow, but no encounter with a wild animal can be guaranteed.
How much is the Marine Park fee?
The current trip information lists Marine Park fees of USD $300 per person. This amount is not included and is subject to change.
What is the payment schedule?
A $1,500 per person non-refundable deposit is required with the booking form. A further $2,000 per person is due by 30 August 2026, and the remaining balance is due by 17 November 2026.
