One Members-Only Club Dive Each Month
Abyss schedules one guided Club Dive each month specifically for current Dive Club members. Places are limited and the dive is listed on the Sydney Dive Calendar under the Club Dives filter.
The wider Abyss community remains open and welcoming: the vast majority of scheduled dives and social events are available to all certified divers. The monthly Club Dive is the members-only exception, not the whole club experience.

Abyss Dive Club FAQs
Do I need a dive buddy before I join?
No. Meeting other local divers is one of the main reasons to join. You can come to social activities by yourself and use guided dives and community events to make suitable buddy connections.
Does every member receive a free day of gear hire?
No. All members receive the current member rental benefits. Free gear with a first post-certification dive is a separate bonus only for divers who join during their Open Water course and book that dive within two weeks.
Are all Abyss dives and social events members-only?
No. The vast majority are open to all certified divers. Abyss schedules one guided members-only Club Dive each month as an additional benefit for current members.
Is the club suitable if I have not dived for a while?
Yes. The membership includes a PADI ReActivate refresher, and the Abyss team can help you choose an appropriate way to return based on your experience and time out of the water.
