This package is for Advanced Open Water divers who already hold Rescue Diver and qualifying CPR and first-aid training. It brings together the five PADI Specialty Diver certifications needed for the Master Scuba Diver pathway and includes the Recreational Avelo Diver Course as an additional bonus.
What the package includes
The Top-Up concentrates on the specialty-training part of the Master Scuba Diver pathway, without charging you again for Rescue and EFR training you have already completed.

Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response are not included. This package assumes you already hold the required Rescue certification and qualifying CPR and first-aid training.

Do Rescue Diver and EFR come with this package?
No. This is a Top-Up Package for divers who already hold Rescue Diver and qualifying CPR and first-aid training.
What if I already have one or more specialties?
Speak with Abyss before booking. We should check exactly what you hold and whether this fixed five-course package remains the best-value pathway for you.
Does the bonus Avelo course count as one of my five specialties?
No. It is included as additional training. Your five qualifying PADI Specialty Diver certifications are listed separately on this page.
Do I receive the Master Scuba Diver rating automatically?
No. You must hold the required certifications and provide evidence of at least 50 logged dives before the rating can be processed.
Is dive equipment included?
No. The package price covers the listed training only. Equipment rental and gear hire are not included.
How long do I have to complete the courses?
All courses included in the package must be completed within 12 months of booking.
Package terms and conditions
- The package includes the five qualifying PADI Specialty Diver courses listed on this page and the bonus Recreational Avelo Diver Course.
- Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response are not included. The diver must already hold Rescue Diver or a qualifying equivalent and qualifying CPR and first-aid training.
- Freediver and Recreational Avelo Diver do not replace any of the five qualifying PADI Specialty Diver certifications in this package.
- The course fee covers training only. Equipment rental and gear hire are not included.
- All included courses must be completed within 12 months of the booking date.
- Receiving the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating requires proof of the required certifications and at least 50 logged dives.
