Jamie began his journey at Abyss Scuba Diving in 2005 after immigrating from New Zealand and has been a core member of the team ever since. He took a sabbatical to work in Fiji and has travelled to some of the world’s most unique and remote dive destinations.

In 2015, Jamie travelled to Malaysia to complete his training as a PADI Course Director. Within just 12 months, he was awarded the prestigious PADI Platinum Course Director rating — the highest recognition issued by PADI, held by only around 50 individuals worldwide.

Jamie has trained many of today's leading dive centre owners, managers, and Course Directors both in Australia and internationally. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a 100% success rate at the Instructor Development level.

He has played a critical role in building Abyss Scuba Diving into not only Australia’s most successful dive centre but also one of the top dive operations globally.
