The instructor behind Abyss’s beginner pathway
Jordan manages the Abyss Learn to Dive program and coordinates the full-time instructor team that delivers it. That role connects day-to-day teaching with the planning and consistency needed to support students from preparation through pool skills and ocean training.
The current Abyss beginner program uses a maximum of four students per instructor, develops foundations in controlled water before ocean dives and provides clear support before the course begins. Jordan helps the team keep those elements working together.
His instructional work also extends into freediving. Abyss identifies Jordan’s coaching strengths as equalisation, body position and calm, practical guidance that helps students reduce effort and work through common sticking points.
