This is a double dive with the location of the site at Jibbon Street Cronulla. Oak Park is a relatively shallow dive (max 11m) but the site is massive with a large range of marine life, from cuttlefish through to schools of Old Wives. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced diver, it is a great site for everyone.

This is a double dive at the Steps in Kurnell National Park. Spot the weedy sea dragons on the sand line and enjoy the sponges! Keep an eye out for the pot belly seahorses!

This site is one of our favourites and is usually conducted as a drift dive with the incoming tide. Step off the rocks into the big blue and let your self be taken along the wall, looking for weedy seadragons, rays and Pj’s. Its always good to get to the site early to get set up and then park your car at the exit point. The second dive will be held at The Steps.

Ship Rock & Oak Park - Shore Dive

Located on Ship Rock Road, it wont take long to see how this site got its name. The only way to dive it, is high tide. Dropping over the wall, takes you into another world, full of pineapple fish, angler fish, decorator crabs (if you can spot them), cuttlefish and much more. Make sure you stop by the shop nice and early to pick up your gear and meet the divemaster. The second dive will be at Oak Park. Oak park is a great spot to see teh big blue groper and loads and soft sponges. With a max depth if 10 m you get heaps of time to explore

Photographers, come along and bring in summer with a boat dive (10:30am), shore dive (12:15pm) and social day BBQ at Kurnell.
Book here to join the single shore dive for photographers at Sutherland Point commencing 12:15pm. This is a prime site for seeing Weedy Seadragons plus heaps of Nudibranchs and cool critters. After this, join in for the social day BBQ with your photo friends or Abyss divers at the Kamay Bay Captain Cook National Park at Kurnell.
The 10:30am single boat dive on Saturday 5th December is booked separately and is heavily booked. Photographers on both dives should leave the shop at 9am, then be ready for the 10:30am boat leaving from the beach at The Monument Kurnell and returning at 12 noon. There will be time to change tanks and camera batteries for the 12:15pm single shore/photo dive at Sutherland Point.
This dive is designed for people with camera so it will be a go slow dive to allow you to get the perfect shot. Due to Corona Restrictions, we will have a maximum of 15 divers in a group and will be maintaining 1.5m. Social distance during shore dives. All divers must have their owntransportation (you are welcome to uber)

Shell Harbour - Shore Dive

This will be a great dive with a heap of marine life, schools of fish and maybe even the odd grey nurse shark. Shell harbour is an hour drive south of the dive centre. So for this dive we leave Abyss at 9am (please be here at 8.30am to collect gear) do the 2 dives and generally get back around 5pm. If conditions make the planned site unsuitable, then another site will be selected for the dive.Transport is not included for this dive.
