Why choose the full dive week?

This is the Vanuatu format for divers who want the destination to unfold across a full week rather than compressing the experience into a short escape.

Five scheduled dive days

Ten boat dives, usually two each day, create time for different reef structures, repeat visits and a relaxed multi-day diving rhythm.

More site variety

The planned diving draws on the Moso Island, Hat Island and Paul’s Rock areas. The local operator selects the safest and most rewarding sites for the day’s conditions.

Island time between dives

The week leaves room for the pool, kayaks, the ocean outlook, local exploring and time to enjoy Vanuatu without rushing from one activity to the next.

Small-group format: a minimum of 6 people is required for the departure to proceed, with a maximum of 12 guests.

What the diving can include

The exact itinerary is never fixed in advance. Weather, sea state, current, visibility, local access and the experience of the group determine the final site plan.

Moso Island reefs

Warm-water reef diving with coral gardens, tropical fish life, bommies and changing reef terrain across the wider Moso and Havannah Harbour area.

Hat Island / Eretoka

A weather-dependent offshore option offering walls, reef structure and blue-water views when sea conditions and the day’s boat plan allow.

Paul’s Rock

A compact deep-water coral pinnacle where walls, gullies and gorgonian habitat concentrate reef fish. The route and depth are matched to conditions and diver ability.

Wildlife remains wild. Turtles and pelagic visitors are possible, but no particular animal or dive site can be guaranteed. Any swim-through is optional, condition-dependent and used only when the guide considers it appropriate; an exterior route remains available.

Reef-safe diving

Abyss promotes controlled buoyancy, secured equipment, no-touch and no-collection behaviour, responsible photography and respect for local communities and customary access.

Site decisions remain local

The skipper and guides may change or cancel a site because of weather, current, access, mooring condition or diver suitability. That judgement protects both guests and the reef.
