This is an ideal first overseas dive trip for newer certified divers, a confidence-building warm-water escape for Open Water divers, and a relaxed tropical holiday for experienced divers who want clear water, reef life, turtles, bommies, walls, swim-throughs and easy island time without the complexity of a long-haul expedition.

The Vanuatu Experience
From arrival in Port Vila, the trip is designed to feel easy. Your return airport transfer to the accommodation is included, and the local team will help you settle in and understand the week ahead.
The accommodation is set on the ocean with a beautiful outlook, a relaxed tropical atmosphere, a pool and outdoor spaces for downtime between dives. The week is built around morning double dives and relaxed afternoons.

The final schedule will depend on flights, weather and local conditions, but a typical week may look like this:

Vanuatu’s reefs are part of what makes this trip special. Abyss promotes low-impact diving, good buoyancy, no-touch reef behaviour and respect for local marine life and communities.
Before departure and during the trip, we will brief divers on reef-safe diving practices, responsible photography and how to enjoy the reefs without damaging them.
Where available, selected departures may also include reef-care or local conservation experiences. Confirmed activities will be listed on the relevant departure details.
