A doctor's dive medical is not automatically required for every activity. Before training, every learner completes a participant questionnaire. Doctor clearance is needed when answers or a particular course requirement call for it.
Yes. Solo bookings are welcome on suitable guided dates. Abyss can help form an appropriate buddy team based on certification, recent experience, confidence and the requirements of the dive. This is buddy matching, not solo diving.
Your certification does not expire, but the right return depends on recent experience, comfort and skills rather than the calendar alone. If core skills or equipment setup no longer feel familiar, start with a supported refresher.
Safety comes first. The guide or skipper may change the site or dive plan when conditions require a safer option. If Abyss cancels, the outcome follows the conditions for that specific course, dive or trip.
Yes. Rental equipment is available for many courses and guided dives. Inclusions vary, so check the exact activity listing and arrange any required sizes before the day.
