Jordan Lewis

Jordan  Lewis is the original water baby, growing up in Newcastle and holidaying regularly in Port Stephens and NSW’s north coast before moving to Sydney. Snorkelling, swimming, exploring rock pools - anything involving water was his happy place. His first dive was as a teenager during a family holiday in Indonesia.

Jordan completed his PADI Open Water and Advanced courses with Abyss, enjoying many shore and boat dives with us along the way. We must have inspired him, as his next steps were to complete our Rescue Diver and Divemaster training. Following this, and now completely committed to his diving career, Jordan commenced an Internship with Abyss to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Now that Jordan has completed his internship, he can live his dream of teaching and diving all in the same day as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer with plans to further his dive qualifications in the near future.

Armed with this impressive list of qualifications, Jordan is an avid underwater photographer and explorer, Jordan loves nothing better than to spot some new or interesting creature or plant and to share this with his dive buddies.

When not teaching or guiding diving, Jordan is diving for pleasure, exploring all of Sydney’s sites and beyond to find and photograph every last nudibranch and sea dragon. Like most of us divers, he is also looking forward to exploring the world’s best dive sites while sharing his love of the underwater world with you.
