Abyss Scuba Diving

Robin Weber

Robin has been working part time at Abyss Scuba Diving since 2017.  He grew up as a competitive swimmer, competing at NSW State and Australian National titles for over 7 years.  However, this love and comfort in the water didn't initially extend to anything below about 2m.  After getting his open-water certification, he slowly developed a love for not only diving but also the incredible creatures that dwelled outside of our everyday world.

He now has a passion for devoting as much time below the surface as he can.  He is a Divemaster and Technical diver (Tec50) who loves diving wrecks and spending time looking for both the smallest and largest of our marine friends.  He loves sharing his experience and taking the time to show other divers the wonders of the marine world and especially those in Sydney.

When he's not diving Robin will spend most of his free time cycling where he's raced A-Grade for Penrith Club, ridden the 517km length of the Birdsville track, completed three 'Everesting' challenges, and various multi-day rides to raise money for charities.
