Our genuine PADI Open Water Diver Certification course offers a small class size to maximize your learning, enjoyment, and safety. The scuba diving course involves 10-12 hours of prior study (eLearning) and two days of in-water training. The eLearning must be completed prior to beginning the in-water training.
Our genuine PADI Open Water Diver Certification course offers a small class size to maximize your learning, enjoyment, and safety. This is a genuine PADI Open Water Diver Certification is internationally recognized. It run mid-week with increased numbers of students to bring the course at a budget price is course. The course involves 6-8 hours of prior study (online), a day of theory in the classroom (9am-1pm on Tuesday) and two days of in-water training. The online theory must be completed prior to beginning the Tuesday’s theory.
Because of the increased class size, it is important that students are comfortable in the water, can swim 200m and are fluent in English.
For this dive you must be confident in the water. This site is one of our favourites and is usually conducted as a drift dive with the incoming tide. It is a bit of a clif walk down, you need to be confident in the water. Step off the rocks into the big blue and let your self be taken along the wall, looking for weedy seadragons, rays and Pj’s. Its always good to get to the site early to get set up and then park your car at the exit point. The second dive will be held at The Steps.

This is a Tonkin St departure, just behind Cronulla train station where the Cronulla Ferry Wharf is. The tuggerah sits in 45m of the Royal National Park on Sydney's south. It always has a lot of fish life. You need to be tec certified with a redundant air source for this one. It is NOT DM led. All divers need to be experienced in tec diving.
Bare Island is arguably Sydney's most popular dive site and is suitable for all levels of divers. With a range of dive sites, it is set to impress no matter what the conditions.

CRONULLA PICK UP. For this one you need to be advanced certified. expect to see lots of schooling fish, big rays, lots of over hangs and maybe even a grey nurse shark or 2. The Magic Point shark dive is a double boat dive. The boat will Depart at the scheduled time from the Sans Souci public Fishing wharf off Riverside drive. This location is easy to get to by public transport or drive yourself. Please be at Abyss Scuba Diving one hour before departure to collect any rental dive gear.
This is a double dive at the Steps in Kurnell National Park. Spot the weedy sea dragons on the sand line and enjoy the sponges! Keep an eye out for the pot belly seahorses!

a beautiful dive at cronulla called oak park at Jibbon Street Cronulla. Oak Park is a relatively shallow dive (max 11m) but the site is massive with a large range of marine life, from cuttlefish through to schools of Old Wives. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced diver, it is a great site for everyone.
