Junior Divemaster

Divers who are younger than 18, but at least 15, may enroll in the PADI Junior Divemaster program. Junior Divemaster is a subset of the PADI Divemaster course. Junior Divemaster candidates can complete a significant portion of the divemaster course including the mapping project, search and recovery scenario and dive theory.
This PADI Open water Course runs two cosequitive days and is followed by a boat dive with the seals at Martin Island at a date you must choose. The seal dive must be done on the date you specify.Transport to the boat pickup at Port Kembla for the seal dive is not included.
This is a genuine PADI Open Water Diver Certification is internationally recognized. It run mid-week with increased numbers of students to bring the course at a budget price is course. The course involves 6-8 hours of prior study (online), a day of theory in the classroom (9am-1pm on Tuesday) and two days of in-water training. The online theory must be completed prior to beginning the Tuesday’s theory.
Because of the increased class size, it is important that students are comfortable in the water, can swim 200m and are fluent in English.

This site is one of our favourites and is usually conducted as a drift dive with the incoming tide. Step off the rocks into the big blue and let your self be taken along the wall, looking for weedy seadragons, rays and Pj’s. Its always good to get to the site early to get set up and then park your car at the exit point. The second dive will be held at The Steps.

The tugarah sits in 45m of the Royal National Park on Sydney's south. It always has a lot of fish life. You need to be tec certified with a redundant air source for this one. It is NOT DM led. All divers need to be experienced in tec diving. The boat will depart from Tonkin street Cronulla. Just behind the cronulla train station
Bare Island is arguably Sydney's most popular dive site and is suitable for all levels of divers. With a range of dive sites, it is set to impress no matter what the conditions.

This double boat dive is sure to inspire as you swim amongst the boulders, look out for the cave in the chance to spot the ever elusive Grey Nurse Shark. Join a school of yellow tails and maintain your buoyancy so you dont accidently surprise any wobbegongs. If conditions make the planned site unsuitable, then another site will be selected for the dive.The boat will Depart at the scheduled time from Sans souci public Fishing wharf off River side drive. This location is easy to get to by public transport or you can drive yourself. Please be at Abyss Scuba Diving one hore prior to departure tiem to collect any gear you need
This is a double dive with the location of the site at Jibbon Street Cronulla. Oak Park is a relatively shallow dive (max 11m) but the site is massive with a large range of marine life, from cuttlefish through to schools of Old Wives. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced diver, it is a great site for everyone.

Jump in your car and head straight to Port Kembla, no time for food stop offs, you will get a light snack on board. The boat will Depart at the scheduled time, from Foreshore road, Port Kembla. Get ready for some fun and don't forget your camera. Note: transport to Port Kembla is not included in this trip and is your responsibility to organize.

The seals are wild animals and as such we cannot guarantee their presence or their interaction with the divers. Arrive at Abyss Dive Centre in Ramsgate no later than 2 hours before the departure time to collecting your gear. Departing from Foreshore road, Port Kembla the boat will adher strictly to the scheduled time, so please do not be late. Get ready for some fun and don't forget your camera. This double dive will start in the store with a short lecture on the port jackson sharks, After this we wil head out for a double dive with a light lunch between looking for the port jackson sharks. Come and join in teh fun. Port jacksons are easy to get photos of as they sit still so bring your camera along
