Any Certification Agencies
As long as you have proof of certification, no matter the diver certification agency (PADI, SSI, BSAC, ANDI, RAID, GUE), you can come diving with us.

Our PADI Adventures in Diving program includes Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist. This will significantly improve your skills and increase your diving options. During the in-water training, you will undertake 2 boat dives (Boat Diver & Deep Diver at Magic Point with the sharks) a Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy and an Underwater Naturalist dive. The course starts at 8:00am on the first day but we will finalise the second day depending on sea conditions at the time.
This PADI Open water Course runs two cosequitive days and is followed by a boat dive with the seals at Martin Island at a date you must choose. The seal dive must be done on the date you specify.Transport to the boat pickup at Port Kembla for the seal dive is not included.
Our genuine PADI Open Water Diver Certification course offers a small class size to maximize your learning, enjoyment, and safety. The scuba diving course involves 10-12 hours of prior study (eLearning) and two days of in-water training. The eLearning must be completed prior to beginning the in-water training.

Dive into the future with an Avelo course on the great barrier reef- a one-day specialty program that offers hands-on experience with the revolutionary Avelo Dive System. Start with online theory, then immerse in two engaging classroom sessions and two shore dives to master buoyancy control using water. Remember to bring your own snorkel gear and wetuit. This course is open to divers who have dived within the last six months and hold open water certification. Let's make waves together!
THIS COURSE WILL BE RUN ON MAGNETIC ISLAND - Great Barrier Reef
Day 1 Audit RAD course
Day 2 Theory presesntation then afternoon dives, we will get in the water for the skill circuit and rescue procedures.
Day 3 after the academic presentations, we will review how to conduct teaching presentations and practice knowledge presentations. You will then have time to prepare an open-water teaching presentation. After a lunch break, we will get in the water to perform the open-water presentations.
Day 4 will begin in the classroom for the written final exam and knowledge presentations. We will then get in the water for your open-water presentation.
Possibly one of the most popular dive spots in Sydney, found in the national park, Voodoo is famous for its pumping surf break above the water and its beautiful swim through Arch beneath the water. With schools of fish, giant cuttlefish and eagle rays swimming about, who wouldnt want to dive in this slice of heaven. Be at the store at more than 30 mins before to collect your gear and meet your dive masters.
Note that this is not the shore dive site that we often visit. It is in the same area but this site is accessible from a boat.
The reef that extends from the famous arch runs quite far South and is mainly flat with large boulders on the edge and the sand line. The site ranges from 20-35m and has lots of colourful sponges. Expect to see lots of fish life including Yellowtail, Silversweep, Blue Groupers, Leatherjackets and Port Jackson Sharks.
If conditions make the planned site unsuitable, then another site will be selected for the dive..
The boat will Depart at the scheduled time from Sans souci public Fishing wharf off River side drive. This location is easy to get to by public transport or you can drive yourself.
This double dive will start in the store with a short presentaion on the Port Jackson Sharks, Location will be selected a few days prior depending on where we are seeing the most sharks. After this we wil head out for a double dive with a light lunch inbetween. Port jacksons are very chilled and make great subjects for photos so don't forget your camera!
a beautiful dive at cronulla called oak park at Jibbon Street Cronulla. Oak Park is a relatively shallow dive (max 11m) but the site is massive with a large range of marine life, from cuttlefish through to schools of Old Wives. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced diver, it is a great site for everyone.

The Magic Point shark dive is a double boat dive. The boat will Depart at the scheduled time from the Sans Souci public Fishing wharf off Riverside drive. This location is easy to get to by public transport or drive yourself. Please be at Abyss Scuba Diving one hour before departure to collect any rental dive gear.

This will be a great dive with a heap of marine life, schools of fish and maybe even the odd grey nurse shark. Shell harbour is an hour drive south of the dive centre. So for this dive we leave Abyss at early do the 2 dives and generally get back around 4pm. If conditions make the planned site unsuitable, then another site will be selected for the dive.Transport is not included for this dive.
Join us for a phenomenal dive at Shell Harbour, located just an hour's drive away from our Dive Centre! We'll have abundant marine life and schools of fish to explore as well as the possibility of spotting some gray nurse sharks. Our journey begins at 7:30am when you collect your gear, after which we will leave Abyss promptly at 8am and return around 5pm. Please note that if the weather conditions are unfavorable, then another site may be chosen instead. Lastly, please keep in mind that transport is not included with this experience.
Located on Ship Rock Road, it wont take long to see how this site got its name. The only way to dive it, is high tide. Dropping over the wall, takes you into another world, full of pineapple fish, angler fish, decorator crabs (if you can spot them), cuttlefish and much more. Be at the store at more than 30 mins before to collect your gear and meet your dive masters before driving yourself to the site.
Normally there are between 20- 80 seals on the island and in the water around the island. The seals are wild animals and as such we cannot guarantee their presence or their interaction with the divers. Arrive at Abyss Dive Centre in Ramsgate no later than 2 hours before the departure time to collecting your gear. Departing from Foreshore road, Port Kembla the boat will adher strictly to the scheduled time, so please do not be late. Get ready for some fun and don't forget your camera. Transport to Port Kembla is not included in this trip and is your responsibility to organize and you are responsible for the collection and return of your rental equipment.
