So you've completed your PADI Open Water course and are now an Advanced Open Water diver, congratulations!
While completing your PADI Open Water course is an important milestone, it's not the end of your diving journey.

Abyss Scuba Diving offers a range of PADI advanced open water courses:

  • Our local program which includes 2 boat dives (Boat Diver & Deep Diver with the Sharks) a Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy and an Underwater Naturalist dive.
  • Weekend Expedition which includes a trip away to either Jervis Bay or Nelson Bay, consisting of 5 boat dives and training in Navigation, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diver and Under Water Naturalist.

During your advanced PADI open water course you will develop your skills and confidence, and gain more experience diving while under the supervision of an instructor. It is the opportunity to try a sampling of different specialties to see what interests you the most, and there is something for everyone.
